Austrian Ministry on the start of the LIFE WILDisland project

News

The kick-off of the LIFE WILDisland project, which took place in May 10-11th in Vienna, Austria, gathering more than 80 project partners, experts and key stakeholders from all Danube countries, was opened with a video greeting, sent by Federal Minister Leonore Gewessler, Austrian Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK).

Unfortunately Minister Gewessler could not be with us in person, but BMK has supported the LIFE WILDisland project in the process of application and is also in charge of national parks in Austria, including the Donau-Auen National Park, which is coordinating the project.

We are very grateful for the fruitful cooperation and looking forward to our future work with the Ministry!
