Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Authority (DDBRA) organized the 4th Danube Volunteer Day action in partnership with Romsilva - Tulcea Forestry Directorate and Romanian Scouts - "LOTUS" Local Center Tulcea on 16.11.2022.
During this action, 30 volunteers planted native black poplar trees on the banks of the Danube, near Isaccea, Romania and learned more about WILDislands and how important their conservation is.
We believe that involving young people in concrete actions is the best way to raise awareness and long-term cooperation regarding forest management and environmental protection and we are grateful for the interest and participation!
