General Information
Core area of the dynamic side branch system of Regelsbrunn – Haslau. Very valuable soft wood forest composition. Non-intervention management established already before the founding of the National Park, as showcase for the future National Park management.
The further dynamization of the side branch system (in preparation) will qualify the Kormoranhaufen as island character A and potential WILDisland.
Located in the nature zone of the Donau-Auen National Park, therefore strictly protected. No entrance for visitors due to the high number of sensitive species.
