General Information
This small island is located at the cross dam whithin the very dynamic Spittelauer Arm. Vegetation shows mixed natural softwood forests with a lot of dead wood. Restoration actions (removal of the cross dam) are foreseen and will further increase habitat quality of this site.
Located in the nature zone of the Donau-Auen National Park, therefore, strongly restricted access.
Conservation status: National Park, Natura 2000
