General Information
These gravel bars and banks show a nice relief of dynamic riverine habitats, including shallow water areas and willow stands. Due to its importance as breeding and resting site for different species of waders, and in particular in winter also for waterfowl, according to the management plan of the Donau-Auen National Park human activities are not allowed on this site.
Conservation status: National Park, Natura 2000
