The Symposium took place on 30th September and 1st October, 2021, at the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek. The 29 oral and 47 poster presentations are published in the conference proceedings.
This event brings together experts from different disciplines and is organized by the Public Institution “Nature Park Kopački rit”; the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, Faculty of Education, Department of Biology and Department of Chemistry, the Public Institution Agency for Management of Protected Natural Values in Osijek-Baranja County, and the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health. The Danube River Network of Protected Areas (DANUBEPARKS) and Balkan Environmental Association (B.EN.A.) assisted the international support to the organization of the symposium.
