On 22nd – 24th September 2021, the 2nd International LIFE Lech symposium “Wildflusslandschaften” took place.
Renowned scientists and interested parties from the EU area came to Breitenwang, Tyrol, to share their know-how and experiences in the fields of river restoration, ecological and nature and water protection. LIFE WILDisland was presented as good-practice initiative for large rivers in Europe and actively discussed. The field trip to the “last wild river of the Alps” inspired all participants.
