The LIFE WILDisland project was presented at the final conference of the INTERREG project INNsieme, which took place on June 2-3d in Innsbruck, Austria.
The INNsieme project will end in summer 2022 and with this final event - the Third International INN Dialogue - it celebrated the project successes together with numerous project partners, supporters and stakeholders. The event also aimed at creating a space for new perspectives to keep the River Inn alive and this is where the experience of the DANUBEPARKS and the LIFE WILDisland came really handy to inspire possible actions and future cooperation.
The technical conference programme was followed by a festive finale with dinner and musical entertainment. The second day of the event included an excursion programme to the Tyrolean lowlands with stops at the Völser Innau, the renaturation in Telfs-West and the newly emerging widening in Stams/Rietz.
