General Information
Located on river regulation infrastructure, therefore this island is of character C. In comparision with the very dynamic sites downstream (AT052), this site is more dominated by muddy habitats. Regular breeding site of Sand Piper.
Together with the restored river bank it’s a valuable riparian habitat and breeding site, in conclusion visitors are kindly asked to strictly accept this site as no-go area according to the National Park Management Plan.
