General Information
Island connected to the mainland by a pier. The shore areas and the largest part of the island are covered with almost impenetrable soft-woods. It is a mixture of tree and shrub willows. The undergrowth consists of stinging nettle and shore shrubs. At the connection to the shore created by granite stones, deposits and alluvial deposits have created an approx. 30-40 m strip of land, which is already partly covered with willow bushes and stinging nettle meadows. A narrow reed belt has also developed around the mid-waterline. The island is potentially of zoological importance, for example for water birds.
