General Information
The biggest and the oldest out of the three islands. It is already registered on the historic maps from 19th century. Grown over by riverside willow and poplar forests on the bank of the Danube River. Except the dominant white willow, brittle willow, black poplar and silver poplar it is infested to some extent by alien invasive species such as ashleaf maple.
