General Information
Smallest and the youngest out of the three islands. Most of the area of the island is formed by gravel sand banks utilized by waterfowl for foraging and resting. Only highest elevations have wooded vegetation consisting of willow and poplar species. This small island with its bigger neighbouring islands is a living example of the ongoing natural river morphology processes consisting of erosion, transport and sedimentation of floating solids.
